1. Clean and wash the horse gram and pressure cook by adding water until done(6 whistles over medium flame).
2. Crush the small onions ,garlic,red chilly flakes and curry leaves together.
3. Heat a pan and add coconut oil .add the crushed onion mix to the oil and fry the mixture until it reaches a light brown colour .
4. Now add turmeric powder to it and sauté for another 1 minute.
5. Add cooked horse gram to it and mix together and add salt this stage and cook for another 5 minutes.(add hot water if required)
6. Enjoy this curry with rice or Puttu.
