Method -
1 Pressure cook the horse gram by adding enough water for 6-8 whistles.Keep it aside.
2 Cut the tender jackfruit into pieces first.Then remove the hard outer skin and inner hard portion.Wash and clean and pressure cook by adding enough water for 1 whistle.
3 After the pressure settles down remove the cooked jackfruits pieces into another pan.Avoid the water.Allow them to cool a bit.
4 Crush jackfruits pieces either with a mortar and pestle or with a food processor.
5 Crush some small onions and garlic cloves togther.Keep aside.
6 Now heat a fry pan and add coconut oil and splutter some mustard seeds and add the crushed onion- garlic mixture,fry for few minutes.
7 When the onions turns golden to that add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,curry leaves and fry for 1-2 minutes.
8 Now add the Crushed tender jackfruit and cooked horse gram along with enough salt and mix everything well.
9 Serve warm with rice and other curries.
